Curaprox toothbrush review

I’ll let you into a little secret.

This is my favourite manual toothbrush on the market.  BY. FAR.

It’s soft, cool and fun, just like me.

Only kidding…

Let’s find out why I love this manual toothbrush in this Curaprox toothbrush review.

The bristles

Sorry Curaprox, how dare I.

They’re called filaments, and they’re not just soft, they’re ultra-soft. Like touching under the chin of a baby-soft.

Curaprox toothbrush filaments are made from a special material they call CurenĀ®, whatever that is. But what it’s not is nylon, and this gives 2 massive advantages:

  1. They’re made incredibly fine – just 0.1mm diameter each
  2. They’re soooo soft

Curarpox toothbrushes have an incredible 5460 filaments per brush. Compare that to a normal manual brush which has a mere 2500, and you can see it’s quite the improvement.

The benefit to you?

You have a brush that won’t damage your gums or brush your teeth away. The ultra-soft bristles are not compromising your clean, because there are so many of them on your brush.

The handle

Chunky and robust, making it easy to hold.

It’s also fairly flat, without grooves or finger pads. This means you don’t get the horrible crusty toothpaste buildup when you don’t clean it properly.

And that does NOT give you permission to not clean it properly.

The longevity

Swiss made and proudly bearing the flag to show it.

We know the Swiss make premium watches – think Omega, TAG Heuer or Breitling. Curaprox is the manual toothbrush equivalent.

Although the brush won’t last as long as harder brushes, the wear will be on the brush and not on your enamel.

Expect to get a month less out of your Curaprox toothbrush than a medium manual brush, but you should be changing it every 3 months anyway.

Curaprox toothbrushes are great fun.

There are a whole plethora of funky, bright handle/bristle combinations that’ll ensure you never confuse your brush with your partners (eeeeew).

These brushes look cool and will appeal to the staunchest anti-brushing devil child or the hippy next door.

Good For

Many colours of curaprox toothbrushes

Curaprox brushes are good for pretty much anything.

Bad for

Absolutely nothing.

In fact, if you are using a manual brush, then it should be a Curaprox ultra-soft.

Price – Curaprox toothbrush review

Damn good.

OK, that’s not what they retail at, but they’re readily available on Amazon Prime.

Conclusion – Curaprox toothbrush review

Try it. You’ll love it.

And how can I be so confident?

When you forget your Curaprox and have to revert back to a normal manual toothbrush you’ll realise why.

And think of me saying  – ‘I told you so’.
