To give her whiter teeth, Rachel decided to have professional teeth whitening. After a hygienist clean to remove stubborn stains, Rachel chose laser teeth whitening for instant results. Known as “power whitening,” a professional dental bleaching product is painted onto your teeth, and a laser activates the agent for whiter teeth.

C — Contour — Composite Bonding

The final part of Rachel’s smile makeover was composite bonding to shape and contour her teeth and give her a perfect smile without using veneers.

How does Invisalign work?

Every week, you change your aligners for the next ones in the set until you have used them all. During this time, you will have face-to-face dental appointments every six to ten weeks to check your progress, as well as virtual check-ins to ensure everything is seamless weekly.

Can you sleep in the aligners?

Invisalign aligners need to be worn 22 hours a day, and this means you will need to sleep with your aligners in. Invisalign aligners are the only clear aligners trimmed and shaped to your gum line for ultimate comfort — making them even easier to sleep in.

Will you need a retainer?

When you have completed Invisalign teeth straightening, you must wear a custom-made retainer to prevent teeth from moving over time. You will need to wear the retainer every night for six months, but ongoing retention after this is needed to ensure your result lasts for life.
